Bruno joined Atena in 2018 and is a Principal in the Transactions team, responsible for the negotiation, structuring and execution of Atena's investments and divestments.

 

Before joining Atena, Bruno was a Private Equity Associate at 8 Miles Capital Partners in London for a period of 3 years where he was involved in 3 transactions that resulted in an investment exceeding USD 150m. He was also responsible for monitoring 3 portfolio companies, being a board member in one of them. Bruno was also involved in work related to the exit of one portfolio company as the 8 Miles Fund was looking to divest some investments.

 

Bruno started his career at Strongeagle, a Private Equity Fund directed to Mozambique, where he was part of the investment team for one year in Lisbon. After that, he worked at AMR International in London as part of the M&A team.

 

Bruno holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Finance from Nova School of Business and Economics and a bachelor’s degree in management by Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics.
